Celery Soup

Soup with ham, ground beef and mushrooms.
Celery Soup


400 g (14 oz)celery
100 g (3.5 oz)ground beef
100 g (3.5 oz)cooked ham
1 l (4 cups)meat broth (Maggi, Knorr, etc.)
1 small canmushrooms
2 tablespoonschopped parsley
1 tablespoonlemon juice
salt, pepper and nutmeg


Season the ground beef with salt and the finely chopped onion then sauté. Now add the ham cut into small pieces.

Rinse the celery, cut it into strips and add the sliced mushrooms (drain water from the mushroom container) and sprinkle with the lemon juice.

Now add to the sautéed portion the meat broth, the celery and mushrooms. Wait until the celery cooks thoroughly. Season with pepper, nutmeg, the finely chopped parsley and salt (add more salt if necessary). Let it boil for a little while and turn off the heat.

Serve with toasted white bread slices.
