Coconut and Apple Cake
|300 g (0.5 lb)||wheat flour|
|1 tablespoon||baking powder|
|100 g (3.5 oz)||shredded coconut|
|100 g (3.5 oz)||oats|
|200 g (7 oz)||margarine|
|150 g (2/3 cup)||sugar|
|dash of salt|
Beat together margarine, sugar and salt thoroughly. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well, then the sifted wheat flour and baking powder. Finally add the milk, shredded coconut and oats.
Pour dough onto a greased cake pan and top with squared, peeled apples. Dust with sugar and cinnamon.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 °C for 45 minutes.
