Ground Beef Meat Loaf

Meat loaf, filled with bacon, onion and apple.

Ingredients
400 g (1 lb) | ground beef |
2 | baked potatoes |
1 | egg |
1 round tablespoons | bread crumbs |
1 flat teaspoon | salt |
half teaspoon | white pepper |
dash of ground cinnamon and nutmeg |
Filling | |
100 g (3.5 oz) | bacon |
1 bunch | cilantro |
1 | small oninon |
1 | large apple |
Preparation
Combine ground beef, mashed potatos, salt, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, bread crumbs and the egg. Hand mix well. Spread entire mixture on top of a clean, greased surface.
Cut into small pieces all filling ingredients and spread them all over the ground beef mixture evenly. Starting from one edge, roll it up carefully as to form a big loaf. Now transfer it to a greased Pyrex baking dish and bake it in a pre-heated oven at 200 °C for about 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve with rice and vegetables.
